The 2025 certification requirements will be available on the AHIP/CMP Training platform. All individual producers and sub-producers are required to take both the AHIP CMS mandated courses/exams and the Blue Cross Medicare Options CMS mandated courses/exams to market and sell HCSC/HISC MAPD and PDP policies.
Launch Dates:
- June 24, 2024 AHIP Training Begins
The AHIP training will be available on June 24, 2024. Once again the Blue Cross Medicare Options team has negotiated a lower rate for our contracted producers. - July 2, 2024 Blue Cross Medicare Options Plan/Product Training Begins
The second section of the training includes the MAPD/PDP Plan/Product training and other required forms, which will launch on July 2. All producers must complete the training prior to marketing/selling 2025 MAPD/PDP plans.
Your Medicare Renewal Compensation
All producers must certify by December 20, 2024 to retain all prior year renewals (exemptions apply for PDP plans sold between 2006 and 2008).
2024 Medicare Curriculum Announcement
The 2024 AHIP course will no longer be available after June 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Producers who wish to complete the 2024 MAPD/PDP curriculum may instead take the 2025 AHIP course along with the 2024 Medicare Options plan course, exam and forms. Producers seeking to complete the 2024 training will be assigned a dual plan year curriculum for both 2024 and 2025. The combined curriculum will satisfy the certification requirement for both 2024 and 2025 and will be available starting July 2.
