Cigna is excited to announce that starting with the 2024 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), Cigna will expand commissionable Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) sales to all of our distribution partners and contracted brokers, in support of our No Wrong Door portfolio selling strategy.
Cigna understands that agents prefer to offer a carrier’s complete portfolio of products and beginning in 2024, you’ll be in better position to meet your customers’ specific needs by presenting any combination of Cigna MA, Cigna PDP, Cigna Med Supp, and other Cigna Supplemental Health and Life (SHL) products.
Several functional areas across the Cigna enterprise have already begun preparing for the 2024 AEP commissionable PDP enablement. So more information, like enablement of enrollment platforms (and timing) as well as commissions rates and schedules, will be released later in 2023.

With the launch of our fully commissionable PDP products, brokers will be in the best position to support our No Wrong Door portfolio selling strategy. With this enablement, you can meet your customers’ specific needs by presenting any combination of Cigna MA, Cigna PDP, Cigna Med Supp, and other Cigna Supplemental Health and Life (SHL) products.
